hi
I’ve never removed the faucet handle, but need to do so to replace some parts Moen sent me.
I believe I need an Allan wrench to remove it, but none of the ones SAE and Metric I have in a set fit.
Anyone know what size it should be on this Moen Integra pullout Kitchen Faucet?
Or, is it some other special type of wrench I have to get from Moen?
Thank you
KC
I turned off the faucet in the kitchen and it "popped". Now it goes fully back and forth, but the water stops when I have the handle placed just right. Is there a way to fix this without replacing the faucet? Please help. What do I do?
How do I do this? It has two glass handles. There’s no screw on top of the handles. They are just covered in glass. Do I need a handle puller? If so, what type.
How can I put new handles on to it? Would most handles of similar size work?
I purchased a price pfister marielle faucet in may 2010. The faucet was missing an o-ring, leaked/needed a new cartridge, needed a replacement part, and then leaked again. I rec’d a new faucet from price pfister on october 12 2010. This is the faucet, leaking from the same place as the first one…less than a week after it was installed. I made this video and posted it to youtube, so that I can send the URL to the customer support team via the customer support fill-in template on the company website.
For more details of my ordeal: unclekenta.blogspot.com How to remove a very old corroded stuck Moen bath shower faucet cartridge. WARNING: Use this method at your own risk. I am not a plumber. It is quite possible to damage the pipes when torquing the faucet with this much force. Again, this is a last resort cartridge removal method. I did some research online and found this web page that discusses the issue and the thread tap and bolt process: vivara.net If anyone knows a better way to get these jammed stuck Moen faucet cartridges out, I’d love to hear it.
