    Definitely shouldn’t break there. And you guessed right, a pull down faucet for less than $99 would probably do that. But I bet it’s still under warranty. Call the manufacturer. Should have the info on your installation sheet, or look for a name on the trim plate and google them. Easy fix with just a hose and head replacement.
