    Yes, the existing waterlines should hook up fine, but if they are old and fragile, you can buy new connecting pieces easily.

    Put a cap or a soap dispenser in the spare holes.

    You can buy a "cap" for the extra hole. Go to Lowes, or Menards or someplace like that. If it was a special order sink, you may have to special order the part.

    i believe you can buy what you describe as one whole unit.
    that’s what i have installed on my kitchen sink.
    bought it at either Lowe’s or Home Depot.
    go take a look for yourself.
    if you need help ask for a sales associate.

    both of those units have the same sized bottom apron thingie. Water lines will still match up.
